Sources elsewhere on this forum indicate March 41. If it is October 41, that means both are correct-depending on when the emblem was first painted on. But right now, there are only photos without it. So I will probably have to remove mine. It was painstaking work, too
Nice model by the way. The color of the U96 emblem is hotly disputed--some say green, some say red, some blue, some say black. The photos I have seen, however, exhibit the swordfish as being very, very dark. Mine will probably be black--unless some can refute the presumption that is black based on the very dark tone in the black and white photos.
