Greetings,
I would like to put an end to the speculation that the type XIB may have actually been built: according to the mallofmaine website, it was and spent some time in Vigo, Spain, before heading across the Atlantic.
Please put your thinking caps on and ponder this: Vigo was a hub of intelligence agents for the Allies at the time the sub was supposedly there for some time, so, why don't we have a photo, a report or anything at all concerning this stop?
If such a thing can happen, then I'll believe anything else they are trying to sell me at face value, including that the moon is made of green cheese.
