Thank you kindly for the explantion. When I rode the USS JOSEPH P. KENNEDY,
(DD-850) a 2250-ton WWII destroyer after WWII, we carried Mk 14 depth charges, but never used them. We were not allowed to launch them from our K-guns, however.
