Every book has errors, but I think "Hellions" might have more than its share. Starting with one of my favorites and going a few pages:

p.42 it diagrams a torpedo powered by an "electric motor", but with a large air flask, a fuel flask, and no batteries!
p.43 it states the Mark 13 had a 170hp motor. This would have made it among the most powerful of aerial torpedoes of the day, but in reality it was among the least powerful, with only 98hp.
p.44 it states the Mark 15 "was the last torpedo designed to be launched from destroyers against surface ships." Untrue.
p.47 it states the German G7e was "20 ft long", an error of more than 3.5ft.
p.48 it states the Japanese Type 93 was powered by "liquid hydrogen peroxide".

"Hellions" is informative, but I think it needed better review.
