<HTML>Yves,
I am reexamining all of the losses in January 1918 that might be attributed to U 84, U 93, U 95 and UC 50. Given that we know U 93 was in this area on January 5 (contact with UC 17 30 miles west on Penmarch at 8:20 am), it is very easy to assign this attack/series of attacks to her.
The question is whether there is evidence for a second boat being involved as well -- remember, U 84's movements are not certain and we cannot take it as a given that she was also here.
Best wishes,
Michael</HTML>
