Thanks - that helps. Unfortunately, given the location, there's probably no way we'll ever know if U 93 or U 84 sank CHÂTEAU LAFFITE. Penmarch was the boundry of the two submarines' patrol areas and U-boats would sometimes shift their patrol area a bit on their own...
It's also clear that both boats were still in existence through at least the 14th.
