There is quite a difference in positions between 140m NE of Ortegal per the story of the Company and the position given by Max. For sure, we'll never know which one of U84 and U93 could have sunk Château Laffitte.
Does somebody has an idea of where the information 140m off Ortegal comes from ?
French naval archives for WW1 are a gold mine but unfortunately researching them and summarize their content should be a huge task for several men working quite a bit of time on the matter.
