200 TX torpedoes were build, intended for approximately 40 shore-batteries at the french coast. Work started in 1944, but after after the allied invasion, this was interrupted and several batteries were evacuated and established in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Denmark (86 TX torpedoes were recovered in Denmark after the war).
