<HTML>Hi Dietzsch
I admire your command of so many languages. I\'m sure; with your experience with languages, you would agree that to properly learn a language, you must use it. The US is a very large country that speaks English. I was 18 before I met a person who\'s native language was not English, and that was only because I was on a school trip to New York City and sat beside a Swiss tourist on a tour boat. The foreign language taught in my high school consisted of French. The country that has the fewest number of immigrants to the US is France and French in the US is mainly spoken by spinster schoolteachers who carry their glasses on chains around their necks. How many languages would you have learned if you knew you would never need or use them?
