<HTML>Hi - I just saw this today on TCM.

The soundman was smoking at his post!
The wintergarden (aft of the bridge watch) was the only place where smoking was permitted).

The control room of the U-boat was so big it could of been a cruise ship!

The Captain was aged about 50!!!!!!

Most U-boats Captains were still in there 20's
