The attack computer is in the tower as it should be, nothing wrong there. Look again and you will see that one person is repeating the settings called out by the Captain up through the tower hatch.
One can say a lot about the movie but the interior is in my opinion very good. Whoever built it did a good job.
The only obvious thing that I recall is that the attack scope head and the search scope head has switched places, this can be seen on the bridge scenes.
