I have the german mini-series. Bought it from amazon. I happen to have a multi- system set up convertor/vcr though. And I know that you can get the tapes converted for a cost as well. I like the mini-series, and even though my German language skills are still at a beginner level, I have enjoyed the series. I know that the Turner Classic Movie Channel runs the longer version about once a year. Also check on e-bay, sometimes you might find someone in Europe that is actually listing the mini-series even though it's in PAL set-up.... Good Luck! Deb</HTML>
