This is the forum for Movie and Film discussions. Again, our topic is naval warfare in WWII for the most part.

<HTML>Hi.
When I started reading you two and your English exchange, I became fixated in some minor grammatical errors.
At the end of this thread, I realized you two were exchanging messages in a second language to both of you. I was very impressed and thought how wrong I was to look at those errors.
What other languages do you know?
And to keep this message within the thread...
The most impressive scenes I thought were 1) where the boat is travelling the strait and there are all those star shells going off; and 2) on an emergency dive when sighted by the enemy, the word "alarm" was yelled, and all of-duty men had to run from one end of the boat to the other.
Was this scene real or typical Hollywood?
Was an emergency dive ordered by "alarm?"
Did German submariners moved to the front of the boat to add their weigh to the front when diving in real U-Boats...?
Thanks for your input,
Luis R. Ramos</HTML>
