<HTML>hey out of order...
the world is a big enough place for lots of uboat clubs or societies. Its up to the indvidual which ones they want to subscribe to, and I doubt if the others would suffer as a result of that.Sure @#$%& are good. But what difference does that make as to wether we start a uk club.
I think it well out of order quite frankly to accuse Terry of "cashing in on the name uboat" balderdash!
Having taken the trouble to actually meet terry along with a few others at Birkenhead, I can assure you that he is well qualified to start and run such a club.He puts in a lot of time and effort in producing the chronicles, which may be a labour of love, but also costs money to print and produce. So if he charges a nominal fee for such things, then good for him. I and many others are sufficiently interested in such material to pay for it.(as we also pay for the time we spend on this very site.)
Its simple really. if you dont think that whats on offer is worth paying for then dont bother joining or subscribing. Its your choice. But dont question my right to make that decision, just because you think Terry is cashing in on what is after all my interest.I will make that choice thank you.Terry..sign me up.
yours a very annoyed pom....</HTML>
