I agree: Nazism still maintains a sinister appeal. Maybe it represents the dark side of the human being.
I hope I will be able to see both \\\"Enemy at the gates\\\" and \\\"Capt. Corelli mandolin\\\" a.s.a.p.
I believe WW2 is still a sensitive topic and making war movies about it is risky business itself. The inflexible laws of biology are asking an high toll from the veterans lines, but I can still see how disgusted they usually are when they watch an Hollywood war movie.
In my opinion \\\"Paths of Glory\\\" (still forbidden in France) and \\\"Aces High\\\" are reasonably realistic, but they are about WW1.
