<HTML>Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
I saw that movie once only, although owning a video-copy but just for collector-purposes so to speak of. What I'm suprised of is the fact that Wolgang Peterson didn't sue the director for rudly copying part of his sequences out of Das Boot. Never saw a war-movie with "good" or non idiotic Germans. And actually there is no reason for that either, we stupid Germans should have started WWII in the first place, especially concidering the terrible crimes committed in the name of the German people by the German Nazis in conducting this war. On the other hand one has to acknowledge the fact some of the Anglo-American mowies dealing with WWII tryed at least to be fair to thoses German soldiers involved in the film-story, see f.e. A bridge to far.
Sincerely Yours
