<HTML>Sehr Geehrter Herr Kummrow,
Thank you for confirming the opinion of those of us who are Jürgen Prochnow fans. Inspired by what you wrote a short while ago, I've ordered a copy of "Fackeln Über dem Atlantik" and very much look forward to its arrival. In surfing the Internet I ran across a clip from a TV interview with Erich Topp wherein he speaks of what a U-Boot commander must be and do; it was very impressive and--I hope you don't mind my saying so--endearing. He said something like "The commander must be a father to his boys." For such a leader, one would be willing to do anything. By all accounts, Heinrich Lehmann-Willenbrock was the same sort, and probably others as well.
Beste Grüße,
Meg Rosenfeld</HTML>
