Patrol description

Ordered to operate off the east coast of Britain. On 19 January, the boat was forced to abort the patrol because a fuel line broke and the next day arrived in Helgoland for repairs. On 22 January, U-9 was transferred from Helgoland to Wilhelmshaven.
