21 May 1941. U-69 gave provisions to the survivors after stopping and sinking the neutral US merchant ship Robin Moor.
30 Jun 1941. The German tanker Corientes supplied U-69 with fuel and provisions at a meeting in mid-Atlantic, and the ship's doctor treated some of her crew.

After sinking two ships from convoy SL 78 U-69 was briefly fired on by escorts in the confusion following the attack. She escaped unharmed. (Sources: Blair, vol 1, page 302)
