Sunk at 2002hrs on 15 October 1944 in the Bauhafen at Wilhelmshaven by bombs during a British air raid (RAF Bomber Command). No casualties.

Raised on 22 November 1944 and decommissioned. Scuttled on 5 May 1945 at Wilhelmshaven, western entrance to Readerschleuse. Wreck broken up.
