U-534

<HTML>I saw a National Geographic prog on TV, today, about the raising of U-534. Most interesting, I must say. I have one problem though: that person Uwe Jensen, who occupies himself hunting for treasure in WWII U-Boote. At the end of the report, there were pics of 2 more U-Boote that he had discovered and the comment said that they would try to salvage whatever \"treasure\" could be in the boats.
The \"hunt for treasure\" was also clearly pointed out as the main reason for the undertakings of Mr. Jensen.
This looks like conspiracy to war grave robbing to me and I consider grave robbing a most hideous crime.
Also, notwithstanding the much highlighted \"fraternization\" of ex-U-534 crew survivors and some UK airmen, the whole tone of the tv program gave me the impression that, even today, the Germans are still being considered \"the vanquished\" and that sunk U-Boote can (must) be pilfered by \"the victors\". Sometimes I have the impression that this war is not really over. I may be mistaken, of course.
Could members of this phorum try to stop Mr. Jensen ? Or should I never have written this posting ?
