<HTML>Hello again !
I did not expect so many reactions on my little posting.
I agree with Tonya. I live not far from Passchendale in Flanders, where also remains of WW I soldiers ar ploughed up every year. I can live with that.
I am surprised however, that no-one followed the most important (in my opinion) issue in what I wrote before: that Mr. Uwe Jensen. Who admits (boasts) publicly that he is a treasure hunter. He is after money, valuables in whatever form, loot. And he announced his intention to go on with \"exploring\" German U-Boote for the only purpose of pecuniar profit.
I one opens a war grave with respect and for \"good\" reasons, invaluable historical data, for instance, to be shared by all the world, that could be acceptable.
What I tried to convey is that The National Geographic Channel brought a story in a way that is demeaning to Germans, of the \"exploits\" of a person who would probably be sentenced to a very long stay in jail if he did the same with, for instance, a US or UK WW II submarine.
As I wrote before, sometimes I have the impression that this war is not over. But then again, I may be wrong.
With best regards,
Takeo.
