Good day all,
Re : U-boats being revictualled in Ireland.
There exists irrefutable confirmation in the Webmaster@U-35 website that certainly in 1939 the U35 did take a Greek merchantman's crew to Dingle Bay, surfaced there released his Greek passengers and withdrew unharmed. I believe that one Guardia (policeman) spied the incident and did his level best to catch the U35 before she made her departure. It's an excellent TRUE story covered in Irish newspapers as well as on Webmaster@U-35 website. WELL worth a look.
Regards to all.
