HI PAT
This is a great photo of U-2518. I will advise the webmaster from Sealink-Holyhead
that the U-boat in the photo is not U-2511. U-2518 was taken over by the French
Navy after the end of World War 2. This U-boat arrived in Dun Laoghaire on the 7th.February 1946 and spent 3 days in the harbour. It then made its way to France
arriving there on the 14th.February 1946 when it became the French Submarine ROLAND MORILLOT.
