Hi Lynn
Your neighbour friend was correct. U-2518 docked in Dun laoghaire Harbour on the
7th.February 1945 for 3 days. The war was over. This U-boat then made its way to
France arriving on the 14th.February 1945, it then became the French Submarine
Roland Morillot. I live 12 miles from Dun Laoghaire Harbour.
