<HTML>Been playing catch up here on the forum tonight. Keep in mind, I am a devout Civilian, E-0, but I have the utmost respect for those that have served their country, regardless of what country.(Least wise as long as they fought honorably.) My hat\'s off to John, and Capt. Duffy, and all you others out there that served. It was great to see the way everyone rallied against that idiot that would deride all you vets. Reading the other posts, I came up with a couple questions. First, though Belgrano was out of the TEZ, did that apply to combat vessels in the first place. I would presume that it only applied to non combat types (Frieghters etc.) and that warships of the opposing parties would be fair game anywhere.Course if the Argies were thinking TEZ, maybe they figured they did not NEED to do an ASW sweep yet. #2: Belgrano\'s escorts were equipped with HedgeHog launchers. Are not the Hedgehog projectiles contact fuse? If so, blast radius would be a mute point, it has to hit the boat to go boom. And THAT I think would have gotten Conquerer\'s undivided attention. As for the Argie Fly-By Boys, my hat\'s off to them. They did do well, despite being tossed into a fracas they(along with the rest of the Argentine military) were not ready for by their politicians. There has been an excellent series of articles on Argie air ops in Wings Of Fame magazine(http://www.wingsoffame.com). Well worth checking out. Take care all. Tjk </HTML>
