Hi, RONALD.
My name is Keith Whitworth, and i am trying to research the naval history of my brother Dennis Whitworth (deceased) who also served on this ship.
I was amazed to find that your relative was a wireless telegraphist on board this ship, as my brother also held the same position as well. Dennis served on board this ship from roughly 1943 until the end of the war, which means they must have worked together at some time.
I have a DVD,which has some photo's of the ship and crew, and also a photo of the wireless room.It also shows places the crew visited.
If you could help me in anyway with my research, by copying some photo's or newspaper cuttings etc, etc, i would be most grateful.
If you would like a copy of the DVD,i will send it to you willingly.
Yours sinserely,
Keith Whitworth. KETTERING, NORTHANTS.
