<HTML>Err...what's your point? That sub, nicknamed U-484, with the original hull number K-81 was used in the movie. No one said anything about it diving for shooting the film. I don't where that name U-484 comes from, though. When it was located in Helsinki, one of the draw bridges had numbers 484 on it. I don't know if it was supposed to stand for some type bogus hull number or if it was just a coincidence.

I visited it when it was in Helsinki, the first place where it was a tourist attraction after it was bought from the Russian authorities. I considered it a rather typical example of Soviet craftmanship, but it was in a surprisingly good shape considering that it was over 30 years old at that time.</HTML>
