<HTML>Dear Mrs Rosenfeld, dear Mrs. Chrysafidou,
thanks for the well wishes, but for Germans, generally speaking, one or more good old but cold beers does the job to survive the heatwave. If the Allies had bombed all the German brueries at the beginning of the war, AH would have had no chance to survie.
I don't recall the Admiral mentioning one of the KBEs in his book but in HARALD BUSCH "SO WAR DER UBOOT-KRIEG" the author gives a report as being one of the KBEs on board u-552 whereas actually he was just taking the notes of one of the KBES who was on board u552 when on patrol and thus telling the story. But asking the Admiral of the name of at least one of the KBE with him on board he couldn't remember, but a name something like KRÃœGER come up. But here, dear Mr. Chrysafidou as our genius expert on such matters you could help out please.
You all ahve a nice day
