This is the forum for Movie and Film discussions. Again, our topic is naval warfare in WWII for the most part.

Morning Meg,
I've got vague sort of images of what we all look like. I've seen photos of two of Cate's Coven and oddly enough I wasn't too far out. Some of our male contributers have firm images in my mind. I'm tempted to reveal these but as they are based on the personality revealed in their posts I'm probably way off the mark, too many stereotypes. You know what I mean: Grumpy Ones; 50ish, Tweedy, Squat, Bald, Glasses. Scholarly Ones: Inconspicuous, Soft-Spoken etc.
I had the great pleasure of meeting Johannes Schneider (An excellent contributor to the main forum) when he visited Dublin with some of his students. We have become firm friends and keep in touch on a regular basis.
As to a movie. I think it would take someone like Bunuel to capture the scenario you describe. What do you think?
btw. If you go to www.mep.ie, click Bands then Bee-Bop-Gold, I'm the guy in the blue jacket (Bald, Glasses--Hopefully not too grumpy!!)
I recommend a stiff drink before embarking on this.
