<HTML>So you guys are down on Capt. Duffy because this old Sea Captain from the WWII era is not a sensitive and politically correct fellow? Good grief.
I have no reason to disbelieve that the Captain is who he says he is and, in the old slang, he has seen the elephant. His views are a valid observation of WWII as he lived it and he should be shown appreciation for sharing his experiences with others, including kids who\'s fathers were not even a gleam in their Mother\'s eye when he was sailing the sea. For all I know, he\'s a cast iron SOB and the true incarnation of Capt. Bligh, but he has been a good poster on this board and helpful to any who asked and he does not deserve this snipeing.</HTML>
