<HTML>I saw your comment and I have been asked to try to contact Mr Reinhard Hardegen, would you be kind enough to see if you could contact him for the Schorn family from Aberdeen Scotland.
Their father Mr Maximillian Schorn was very discreet about his time in the Germany Navy or as a POW. However he gave an interview to a local paper in the 40s stating that after a spell on the Gneisenau he went on the U-123 where he was a wireless officer. Nine years after his death his family hope to get some light into the past of Maximillian and may be trace some of their relatives in Germany.
