<HTML>I am sorry, but searching for the whole day yesterday, I couldn\'t find more details of that incident.
But I am sure that it must have to do with the participation of von Arnauld in the fights of the volunteer corps von Loewenfeld in the early twenties against the communist insurrection.
Von Arnauld was the commander of the assault bataillon involved in the bloody attack of the townhall of Bottrop, which finished the \"cleaning\" of the Ruhr area.
The hoisting of this red duster was probably a sign of insurrection in a period where in Germany disputes between communists and nationalists became more and more severe. ( 8 dead on may 1, 1929)
As the government was social-democrate a so pronounced person as von Arnauld was perhaps undesirable.
But this are only my reflections, I have no evidence therefore.</HTML>
