Hi Carlos,
Well said. They absconded my research as well, without attribution. For approximately five years I headed the 'USS Eagle PE-56 Search Team' expedition, which ultimately compelled the U.S. Navy to change the official record for the loss of the PE-56 on 23 April 1945 from 'accident' (boiler explosion), to 'enemy action' by the U-853 (OLzS Froemsdorf) (see book entitled 'Due to Enemy Action' by author Stephen Puleo). That record correction occurred in the Fall of 2001. Mr. DeNapoli and his co-author twisted that into part of an alleged conspiracy theory, changing the sub that sank the PE-56 (U-853) to the U-530, to enhance the credibility of their book.
'Ultramar Sur' is nothing but pure fantasy, based upon a few well established facts, that were derived from the hard work and genuine research of other people, without attribution. I am glad that my name is not mentioned in their trash of a so-called book.
Regards,
Paul
