  I've now completely redesigned these 2 databases, making them a lot more scaleable and useful. This was needed because of the much wider view into them that the Conning Tower now offers for all commanders. However, this change benefits the entire site and will offer many interesting new developments which I am exploring now.

  Using information from no other than Dr. Axel Niestlé we've revised the fate of U-84 and also published an article for the Conning Tower about its loss.

  I've further improved the new Men section by making sure that from wolfpacks, patrols, boats, events and ships attacked pages you will always be able to click on the commander in question to see his page.

  21:03 - Rewrote the List of all U-boat commanders (open version) completely. Now it's fully automatic (instead of the hybrid code we used to have) making it better and faster.

  Well it's finally ready! Huge new section for the Conning Tower covering all 1411 commanders. Each has his own page showing ranks, decorations, commands, patrols, sinkings and more! Already it's fully searchable.

  15:46 - Added thumbnails to 65 images in 8 galleries. Now all the galleries have thumbnails of every photo (231 right now). (2 Conning Tower galleries do not have thumbnails yet).
