Lieber Herr Kummrow,
Das "Archiv" hat meine Anschrift, da ich mich zuerst an diese Leute gewendet hatte als ich zum ersten Mal anfing mich mit U 96 zu beschäftigen, und bekam eine (wie immer lange verzögerte Antwort) dass es dort nichts über sein Kommandant stünde.
Ich möchte, ich könnte Ihren Optimismus haben. Anscheinend, gibt es nicht freiwillige Mitarbeiter des "Archivs" die gegen eine Belohnung eine Suche unternhemen können, wie es an andere, richtige Archive üblich ist. Wenn man etwas nicht selbst heraussucht und dann kopiert, wird es nie gemacht.
Na ja, vielleicht haben Sie einen besseren Draht zu Herrn B., da Ihre Eltern mit U-Boote zu tun hatten. Unsereiner wird einfach raus im Regen gelassen.
